December Vineyard Notes

I’ve just been out to have a look at some of our vineyard blocks pre-Christmas, and post 70mm downpour, to see how they’re fairing, how flowering and fruit set ended up, and check on disease pressure, given 2011 was such a high disease year and there is likely to be residual spores hanging around. A quick note of thanks to the 85 or so of you that came along to our recent new release tasting at Mr Wolf Bar, St. Kilda on 3rd December.

Saturday December 3rd, Mr Wolf Bar, 9/15 Inkerman St St Kilda Vic 3182 from 2-5pm is the time to taste the new wines – There are going to be 8 new wines to try from 2010 and a couple of 2011 whites as well, certainlly our biggest release to date and some cracking wines in there. The 2010 Shirazes have already received some great reviews from Australian and International press, even before release.
